day will offer:
-
a
2 hour shoot in the morning, with tuition on studio lighting.
Timmins will be your model and offer all styles from fashion
to lingerie. You'll have the opportunity to
learn how to use lighting to full effect, get some great shots
for your portfolio and gain experience in the studio setting.
-
2
hours in the afternoon, learning photoshop
techniques....developing your skills and confidence to allow
you to get the very best from your work. And...you'll leave
with a selection of shots ready to post on your portfolio.
We'll even throw in a light lunch and refreshments.
Studio and Photoshop - All for just £99
Or.......if you want to concentrate on your studio
lighting skills....
Three hours Studio Only - £75
Sessions
are delivered on a one to one basis and will be tailored to meet
your experience and knowledge. Each session will focus on areas
that you, as the 'student', wish to concentrate on.
Timmins is a mature model with many years experience. Personal
feedback from shoots has been highly positive.....so I am sure
that you'll find her very helpful and photogenic. She also has
unlimited patience......so you can take your time whilst learning.
I am a very experienced trainer and photographer, able to develop
your skills and help you get the best from your shoots. I am fully

Development backed up with 30 years experience, including work
with local colleges and Leeds Met University.
Recent comments from some of our satisfied 'students' include:
"Thank
you so much for this afternoon. It was a really enlightening
experience! Mike has the
right knack of intervening only when necessary and for putting
points across really well. For me it was about gaining as much
knowledge as possible in the short period of time we had.
You (Timmins) were great. I know I have some very good images.
I've only had time to work on a couple of them, and I know they
will be very good final images.
Thank you also for being so helpful and for putting lots of
effort into ensuring the best possible relationship with the
camera.
Please pass on my thanks to Mike for his patient understanding.
Thanks very much again, and hope to see you again, soon."

"I
enjoyed everything in the day and had some useful ideas from it.
It's great to work with a model who is easy to get on with,
helps with ideas , has loads of experience and is attractive,
and thats what you get with Timmins. I would have no
hesitation in recommending her."

"Many
thanks for today, really enjoyed it -
Lunch
was great (and I'll have to find out the tea recipe) - the
lights and set up instruction was sound, Timmins fantastic and patient
and I got some good tips for photoshop. The concept of
cradle to grave or 'All you need to know about Glamour
modelling, but were afraid to ask' is great. You have a
great model who is prepared to produce great results without any
effort from the photographer - and then you take those results
and improve them with PS. A winning combo."

"Mike has a
very natural easy style of teaching that strikes the right
balance between imparting knowledge and allowing the photographer
to try the theory out. And the huge bonus for those who
attend is the opportunity to shoot his lovely wife 'Timmins',
she is not only wonderfully photogenic, she really is a
great encouragement when one is not used to working and
directing models; Timmins gave me tips all the way through
the shoot; from how to direct, down to small but important
details on body shape and accessories. Between them they
make an excellent team and I shall be going back to learn
even more very soon."
